Subway Station - 3D Environment

                                                                                                                                 

This project is an artistic digital recreation of the Berlin subway station "Amrumer Straße". It got created in the 3rd semester at the DE:HIVE as part of the 3D modeling course. 

I was drawn to this subway station´s architecture and distinctive color palette. The walls are covered in rectangular turquoise-green tiles. In the middle there are octagonal pillars covered in small mosaic tiles matching the hue of the glass tiles. The station´s ceiling features an interesting 'butterfly' pattern, consisting of a suspended installation that arches along the station's longitudinal axis above the platform edge. Its lowest points are positioned at the tunnel walls and central supports, creating a sharply contoured curvature with a smooth, uniform rise.
The mix of turquoise-green and warm lighting creates a
unique atmosphere.

The combination of these aesthetic and architectural details made this subway station an exciting challenge.
